A long list of upgrades and a complete styling makeover have transformed the versatile Honda Grom for the 2022 model year. Due to go on sale in May 2021, the 125cc Grom prioritizes fun, efficiency, and affordability. And now there are a bunch of improvements that make it better than ever.

First, there's an extra gear in the transmission. The new 5-speed shifter makes it a lot easier to cruise comfortably at higher speeds and lower RPMs.

Second, there's a flatter seat so the Grom fits different body types.

Third, the fuel tank is bigger. At 6 litres, the ridiculously fuel efficient Grom now travels even greater distances between (hilariously inexpensive) fuel stops.

Fourth, the 125cc has greater punch thanks to a boost in compression for the 2022 model year.

Fifth, you can now get an anti-lock braking system, or ABS. Honda made it affordable, too: just $200.

Sixth, there's a new LCD display incorporating a tachometer, gear indicator, speedometer, an odometer with A and B trip meters, a clock, and a fuel gauge. That's everything you need.
