Power steering? Sharpened. Lighting? Improved. Power? Upgraded. Suspension? Superior. Storage? There's more of it.

Everything about the revamped 2019 Kingquad, the successor to a long line of original four-wheel ATVs, is better.

Start with the steering, where the electric power steering module has 30% more output, making it easier for Suzuki to tune the right amount of effort for conditions. Combined with exceptional suspension travel, this perfectly modulated EPS means you'll be crawling around and over obstacles with more accurate feel and less effort.

Suzuki has also moved the headlight back onto the handlebar so lights is projected in the direction of travel. This improvement is two-tiered: the handlebars are higher, helping to create a more natural riding position.

Not only is the new Kingquad literally more powerful, it's been tuned for better overall smoothness (especially when launching) and greater torque across the rev range. Together with the strengthened chassis - the main frame tubes are thicker and the overall structure is more rigid - and a receiver type hitch, the Kingquad's outstanding power ups the 750's towing capacity to 1,322 pounds.

Underneath, the fully independent suspension uses gas-charged shocks, a much larger stabilizer bar, and broad travel for a ride that's both more compliant and more nimble: the best of both worlds.

Suzuki hasn't forgotten practical issues, either. Already handy because of a 2.8-liter storage cubby beneath the rider's right hand, the Suzuki now includes two 4-liter storage units at the back, as well, perfect for drinks, snacks, and even larger items you might need on the trail.

In addition to functioning as practical upgrades that you'll encounter on a daily basis, Suzuki's Kingquad improvements for 2019 also serve to bolster the ATV's reputation for rugged reliability. Whether it's the altered transmission, maintenance made more straightforward by an easily accessed fuel filter, or stronger brakes, the 2019 Kingquad has been redesigned with a focus on durability.

If the old Kingquad was already King, and if the new Kingquad is better than the old Kingquad, Suzuki is going to have start thinking about a new name.

Emperorquad has a nice ring to it. But Kingquad will do for now.
