Suzuki today unveiled the new 2019 Kingquad in both 750 and 500 versions.

It's been 35 years since Suzuki introduced the world's first four-wheeled ATV. Suzuki's ATVs have come a long way since the LT125 in 1983.

"Nothing's built like a KingQuad," Suzuki likes to say, and that's a statement that rings even more true in 2019. The 2019 KingQuad's new frame, 30-percent reduction in steering effort, new handlebar-mounted headlight, an LED taillight, a new multi-fuction LCD instrument panel, and more storage compartments only begin to tell the story of the 2019 KingQuad's improvements.

Here's everything we know so far.

  • Towing capacity is increased to 600 kilograms, or 1,322 pounds.
  • Engines have been refined for greater output and smoother power and torque delivery.
  • The fully independent suspension has new gas-charged front and rear shocks for more precise handling.
  • The frame is more rigid, and the rear suspension and final drive case brackets are stronger.
  • The handlebar headlight obviously turns with the handlebars, so light points the direction you're traveling.
  • There are now three storage compartments: one beside the right front fender, one on the rear left side, and a new 4-litre compartment at the centre rear.
  • The transmission has been updated with a lighter weight roller, a new driven pulley spring,  optimized string tension, and re-grooved torque cam shape.
