American Honda announced yesterday, October 9, 2018, in Las Vegas that the company will soon begin producing a new sport side-by-side. At the AIMExpo powersports show in Las Vegas, the builder of the multipurpose Pioneer lineup revealed its intention to unveil a new SxS in the sport-focused category.

November 27 will result in a new "Life Is Better SxS" Honda marketing campaign along with model info and specifications for the new SxS.  Honda entered the side-by-side arena with the Big Red in 2009 but has since evolved the Pioneer range to include 500, 700, and 1000cc iterations with two, three, four, and five-seat variants. This upcoming Honda SxS will theoretically be a competitor for the Yamaha YXZ, Polaris RZR, Arctic Cat Wildcat, and Can-AM Maverick.

Legendary Honda off-road durability and a company-wide performance focus that's brought you vehicles as varied as the S2000, NSX, CBR1000RR, and the Africa Twin, not to mention the Rancher, Foreman, and Rubicon.

As soon as we know more, we'll be the first to tell you. For now, rumour has it a so-called Honda Talon will have a 1000cc engine.
